It's been a long while since the last journal update, and we don't have many people posting over here currently.

With other group responsibilities and a lot of real life things happening lately, I haven't had the time to keep this group going and thriving.

If there are any members still watching that would like to step up and help manage this (or take over managing it--I'll stay on as Founder and oversee, but leave the running to you) by all means, send me ( TwilightPoetess ) a note with your name, other groups you have helped with/what you did there, a few ideas of activities you think might be beneficial to getting the group up and running again, and any other information you think is pertinent and I'll discuss things further with you.

Thanks, you guys!

Is this group still Active? Seems like all the most recent posts and comments are from 2013....

We only have a few people who are submitting right now; I check comments and whatnot, but have so many other groups I've been giving my time to that this one has sort of fallen under.

As for your comment on the feedback pack journal--I do like that idea. We haven't been doing Feedback Pack, though, lately, as participation had fallen almost to nill. If you have ideas on how to get participation and the likes back up, or would like to come on to help with running the group, let me know.

I would love to help run the group if I wasn't pretty much losing my internet connection within the week (I'm not sure when it will shut off... And once it's gone I have no idea when I'll have constant internet again... :I Maybe I could help out once I get solid internet back though- (once my internet dies I'll be using my phone to get on here just once a week or so I think to check messages so they don't get overwhelming before I get an actual internet provider back and can check them every day again.)

As for gaining publicity, maybe make a Facebook page to advertise the group(s?) (Or I could make them a facebook page before my internet is shut off) Most of the artists/writers I know on here also have a facebook accounts and groups for their art and novels and such, and many of my friends are artists and writers who simply haven't found their way onto deviantart yet.

If not that, then maybe I could make a journal about the group(s?) and ask my watchers to spread it around, and have them ask their watchers to spread it around and so forth until it's been all over the place.
If you could give me kind of a general statement of what the group is all about and a short explanation of how things work, I could copy and paste it into a journal and get it started. I know a few writers on here who might be interested. :)

Hello everyone!

I am currently offering a speed critiquing service for those who want to get professional standard feedback on their prose writing/or poems at a cheap price. I've just finished my latest 45,000 editing/proofreading job and I'm looking for new works!

You could have your short story, the first chapter of your novel or one-act script read by the end of the day with in depth feedback on how to improve!

If you're interested in finding out more, follow the link to my job service forum post.

I look forward to hearing from you! =D

Hey, my name is Ed. I've been writing my novel, The Fallen Star. I've recently finished posting the entire book! I would love if a few people could read through it and tell me what they think; I would love to get it published one day =D

Siale was no longer safe for the Watchers; they were forced to flee from the city. Little did Rantil know that his life was going to change forever. He was about to be caught in an age-old battle between the Chalders of Ciameth and the Demons of Dremnor. He was Truaine's only hope.

Join him on his journey across Truaine; through the memories he'd rather forget, over vast mountain ranges and eventually beneath the Phayorian Mountains in ancient tunnels - created when the world was so much more than it has become.

The Fallen Star would change everything.

SerinaHartwell Featured By Owner Aug 22, 2012  Professional Writer

I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to join your group, and showcase my work here. I need your help. My name is Serina Hartwell; I'm a brand new writer, learning the ropes. I'm here to promote my first ever book, and to work on getting it published. If you would like to read my writing, I have uploaded the first four chapters of 'Hidden’, to the site. I would love for you to read it, and let me know what you think. I know this won't be enough for some of you out there, so if you wish to read more; then please follow the link below:-

Here you can read more. I would be grateful for any constructive comments you may have. All I ask in return for reading my book for free, is that you leave me a comment on the Authonomy website, and if you really like it, and would like to support me, in publishing my first book, then please put me on your bookshelf on the Authonomy site, and don't forget to recommend me to a friend!

‘Hidden’ is the first book in a saga, and one of discovery. It starts small and just keeps on unfolding into a huge fantasy story. The story in its entirety, is a mixture of Bronte's life on Earth, and her other life on a planet called Naveeha. In the first book 'Hidden', the story begins on Earth, and is about Bronte's discovery of who she is, and why she is on Earth. I began the story with as much routine as possible, and painted a picture of normality on purpose, because I wanted to reflect the fact that she is hidden from her enemies. I have threaded the story with subtle hints and dark undertones, in the beginning which start to play-out after her accident at the mill.

Later in this book she meets her counterpart 'Bayer', and learns she is from Lertainia, which is a province on the planet called Naveeha. I don't want to give too much away, because I want you to enjoy the story, but I wanted to add this to my introduction, because I am aware that you may ask as a fantasy reader, what my story has to do with a fantasy group genre. Stick with it, it is worth it, and don’t forget the link if you want to keep on reading.

I am currently in the process of writing the second book ‘Trapped’, which take you deeper into Bronte’s torment of living between two worlds.

I would like to thank Jasmine Varley, AKA ‘CrazyTooner’, for her work on the book cover of ‘Hidden’. She is currently studying to be an animator, and took time out of her busy schedule. If you would like to see more of her work, please follow this link:- [link]

I thank you for taking time to read my work. Please enjoy, and thank you for your support. I look forward to hearing from you.
